Selena Gomez receive golden record accolade

Selena slipped on a pair of heavily studded ankle boots.

The love you like a love song sta -spangled boots clearly fitted the bill as the 19-year-old was being presented with a golden record in recognition for selling over 30,000 copies of her album, When The Sun Goes Down.

Selena still sporting her technicolor rainbow hair, which was this time styled in a chic blow-wave, Selena also slipped into a tiny pair of Daisy Dukes. Her shoes were adorned with silver star studs.

She paired the look with a daring sheer white T-shirt and a melon-coloured cropped tuxedo jacket.

Her recent outfits aren't the only thing about Selena that is growing up, her film roles are also becoming more mature.

After the teenager finishes her South American tour, she will go straight into filming Spring Breakers, an edgy, dark Harmony Korine project.

Alongside James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens and Emma Roberts, Selena plays the character of Faith, one of three friends who rob a bank in order to pay for the classic American tradition of Spring Break.

And that isn't all the naughty mischief her character gets up to.

The actress will also be seen drinking and partying in the movie.

'She's the little more tamed down character but also still gets a little crazy here and there,' Selena told E! Online.

Disney darling Selena Gomez, 19, was spotted out and about in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (Jan 3). She was Dressed in super-skinny jeans, sky-high heels, a white button-down and glasses, Sel looked sexy-chic as she drive through at McDonalds for some grub and stopped to get some gas into the SUV and chatted on the phone, before heading over to boyfriend Justin Bieber‘s house in Los Angeles, CA.

Selena Gomez in a Giant Fish Tank

Selena Gomez in a giant fish tank!? Well, Sel revealed today that it’s part of a photoshoot for her new fragrance! Wearing a flowing and glam gown, she struck a pose — later sharing one photo on Facebook, telling fans:

“Shot in a giant fish tank all day yesterday for my new fragrance. Help me decide my final scents now at www.selenagomezperfumes.com and register for a chance to fly out to New York and pick the final scent that will ship to stores.”

Selena told Access Hollywood that she want her Perfume to be really Romantic, she said, she want it to be Sweet and Sophisticated.

Selena Gomez Loves Jake

Selena Gomez posted a photo of herself hugging Jakey... Sel was wishing a happy birthday to her former television brother from Wizards of Waverly Place, Jake T. Austin!
"Happy birthday Jakeyy! Love you soooo much," Gomez tweeted Saturday night, with the pic from her Instagram. The former Disney co-stars were very close, She bonded with a lot of the actors on her Disney show and it's great to see that she's kept such a good relationship with Jake.

Selena will perform at MTV’s New Year's Eve bash

Selena Gomez is performing in New York City on New Year’s Eve.

HollywoodLife reports the 19-year-old former Wizards of Waverly Place star announced on Friday on his Facebook that she is scheduled to perform at MTV’s New Year's Eve bash, the same night Justin Bieber, is appearing on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year's Eve over on ABC.

“Hey Everyone-- Not sure if you know but, I will be the first performance for MTV in 2012 at the strike of midnight I will be performing at MTV’s NYE Party. Wanna join me in New York for the countdown?” the actress posted on her Facebook.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were spotted by some fans on their Thanksgiving Day date to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in Breaking Dawn; Part One. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez spent Thanksgiving together at her family's home in Texas where, they were spotted "playing around the street and doing grocery shopping at the local Kroger... they went to see Twilight at the Magnolia Theater. where they were spotted by a fan named Taylor Green who just happened to be in the right place at the right time on her way to Pinkberry with her friends.
