Selena Gomez is performing in New York City on New Year’s Eve.


HollywoodLife reports the 19-year-old former Wizards of Waverly Place star announced on Friday on his Facebook that she is scheduled to perform at MTV’s New Year's Eve bash, the same night Justin Bieber, is appearing on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year's Eve over on ABC.


“Hey Everyone-- Not sure if you know but, I will be the first performance for MTV in 2012 at the strike of midnight I will be performing at MTV’s NYE Party. Wanna join me in New York for the countdown?” the actress posted on her Facebook.
