Selena Gomez receive golden record accolade
Selena slipped on a pair of heavily studded ankle
boots.
The love you like a love song sta -spangled boots
clearly fitted the bill as the 19-year-old was being presented with a golden
record in recognition for selling over 30,000 copies of her album, When The Sun
Goes Down.
Selena still sporting her technicolor rainbow hair,
which was this time styled in a chic blow-wave, Selena also slipped into a tiny
pair of Daisy Dukes. Her shoes were adorned with silver star studs.
She paired the look with a daring sheer white T-shirt and a melon-coloured cropped tuxedo jacket.
Her recent outfits aren't the only thing about Selena that is growing up, her film roles are also becoming more mature.
After the teenager finishes her South American tour,
she will go straight into filming Spring Breakers, an edgy, dark Harmony Korine
project.
Alongside James Franco, Vanessa Hudgens and Emma
Roberts, Selena plays the character of Faith, one of three friends who rob a
bank in order to pay for the classic American tradition of Spring Break.
And that isn't all the naughty mischief her character
gets up to.
The actress will also be seen drinking and partying in
the movie.
'She's the little more tamed down character but also
still gets a little crazy here and there,' Selena told E! Online.

Selena Performing at MTV NYE in NYC 2012
Selena Gomez was one of the headliners for MTV's New Years Eve bash, and she did such a lovely job!
Selena Gomez took the stage inside MTV studios to perform tracks from her most recent studio album, ‘When the Sun Goes Down,’ with her band the Scene. Dressed in a festive, sparkly dress, Gomez performed her hit ‘Love You Like a Love Song’ before cutting into her latest single ‘Hit the Lights.’ While ‘Love You Like a Love Song’ got people singing along, Gomez brought the house down with her upbeat, dance-pop single ‘Hit the Lights’ as she sang amongst a hoard of fans. As the audience cheered and confetti filled the air, the pop star was all smiles in her sparkly dress. Watch the Video of her Performance below.

Selena Gomez 'When the Sun Goes Down' Sales UP
According to PerezHilton.com, it probably has something to do with a special that Universal Music was running over the Black Friday weekend, but 248% is very impressive!
Universal Music had a few selected albums for $7 special. Sel promoted her album at her We Own the Night concert tour. In which she visited cities in the U.S. and Canada too. There must be something she did during her tour, that caused peoples to take notice.
Well Congrats To Selena for her album. May be this boost will give us another Album from Selena Gomez.
