Selena Gomez was all prepared for an outbound flight in Los Angeles, CA on Friday (December 30).

En route to NYC to take part in MTV’s New Year’s Eve Special, the "Monte Carlo" cutie toted a red jacket in her arms as she was shielded by a staffer upon entering the LAX Airport terminal alongside a few loved ones.

While 2011 ended on a somber note following the loss of her unborn sister, Gomez said she was "humbled" by the successful past twelve months during an interview with MTV.

The 19-year-old told, "I feel like this approach of this year, I wasn't expecting any of the things that happened. And so I just kind of want to go into the end of this year and the beginning of next year just excited and in a good place and not planning anything."

Selena Gomez Dog Baylor, was never meant to be for her, Sel told this to Kiss FM in an interview “It wasn’t meant to be for me,” Selena confessed. “I was going to give it to my nana as a gift, but I ended up falling in love with him, so I had to keep him.”
Selena says she can’t stand to be away from Baylor. “I miss him,” she said. “I wish he could come with us everywhere. But he’s growing every week, so he’s at home with my mama. … He’s been my sweetheart, my cuddle bunny.”
She also told that he’s also learning some new tricks!
“We taught him how to sit and give paw,” Selena said. “We got him when he was a puppy, so he was very easy to teach. But the rest was my stepdad — he’s so good with dogs.”

Selena announced today that she is going to be a big sister! She wrote: "Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news... My mommys carrying my baby brother or sister :) I'm the happiest girl in the world!"
